RECIPE: Pumpkin Seed Butter Hummus
Soak the chickpeas over night. Place the chickpeas in a saucepan and cover them well with water and boil for approximately one hour or until they become tender. Then drain them (save the cooking liquid) and put the chickpeas into a blender together with the lemon juice, garlic, pumpkin seed oil, 150 ml of the cooking liquid and pumpkin seed butter. Blend the mixture until it becomes smooth and easy to spread. You may find that you need to add more liquid to achieve the right consistency.
