Sherston Tea Company was founded two years ago by Clare Mitchell who was on a quest to find the perfect cup of tea for herself and her friends! After travelling and working as a theatre designer in Europe and America and fortunate to try different food and drink was often rewarded by the superb experience of tasting many wonderfully delicate white and soft green teas and full fruit flavoursome tisanes. Then the disappointment of returning home and the tea bag promising much and delivering very little!

A chance meeting in whilst working in Vilnius Lithuania of a Tea Merchant lead her down many wonderful paths of books, meetings, tasting and finally to Sherston Tea Company's list of teas and tisanes, some rare, some completely unique, some traditional but all of the highest quality and from all corners of the world.

All our teas are loose and out of tea bags, so it is both possible to see the quality and delight in the different fragrances and where the taste lives up to the perfume.
