Our hand made Suya spice blend was created out of our love for suya (West African style grilled meat). A tasty combination of roasted peanuts, spices and chillies makes for an excellent dry rub for red meat. You might also like these... |
As well as using as a marinade to create suya, why not serve as a dry dip (as is traditionally done) or sprinkle a little over meat once cooked.

A real favourite of the Team. We think this is a taste sensation - especially good as a marinade on tuna steaks!

RECIPE Suya Chicken:
You can create your own suya chicken by using this spice blend (roughly 2 tablespoons for three pieces of chicken) a little salt, some olive oil and 1/2 tablespoon of honey. Leave to marinate for 1-2 hrs or overnight and roast or grill.
RECIPE Veggie Suya:
If you are vegetarian you can create your own veggie suya(as we have done in one of our classes) by combining vegetables of your choice - we have used a combination of plantain, courgette, red peppers, mushrooms and onions. Place chopped vegetables in a bowl and marinate the same way, thread onto pre-soaked skewers and grill.
